Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in economics at UC San Diego and will be on the 2026–2027 job market.
I study trade and industrial policies in contemporary and historical settings. I use novel empirical designs that exploit pre-existing variation in import competition across regions, generating differential exposure to nationwide tariff increases. I also examine these policies' general equilibrium effects.
I received a double BA in Mathematics-Economics and Computer Science from Brown University and was a full-time research assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
My job market paper won the Best Graduate Student Paper competition at the 33rd Empirical Investigations in International Trade (EIIT) Conference.
My CV is available here.
